INDIANAPOLIS - An Indianapolis-based technology company that helps government agencies with online payment programs has been acquired.

eGov Strategies was purchased by Rhode Island-based CORE Business Technologies, a Software-as-a-Service provider used for revenue management in healthcare companies, higher education and government clients.

The Indiana company offers a variety of software that helps government offices with integrated payment programs.

“Joining forces with CORE also will provide us with a broader base for expanding our website management and citizen engagement solutions to drive successful client outcomes nationwide,” said eGov Co-Founder Ken Barlow.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
