A York County fabric company has acquired a North Carolina company’s laminated fabrics division,
Herculite Products has acquired the division from Burlan Manufacturing.
“This acquisition strengthens Herculite’s position as a global leader in high performance reinforced textile composites,” the company said in a press release.
The transaction was finalized on February 7. Herculite will be incorporating Burlan’s manufacturing capabilities into its current location in Manchester Township near Emigsville.
Herculite is a fabric company that specializes in high performance laminated and coated fabrics and has been around for more than 60 years. In addition to the facility in York County, Herculite also operate a facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
