A Hampden Township company has acquired an HVAC company in Maryland.
Enginuity acquired Triad Mechanical services of on April 16.
Triad is based in Glen Arm, Maryland and provides commercial and industrial HVAC services.
“Triad’s clients will benefit from the additional building service capabilities and engineering Enginuity offers and, since our company cultures are very similar, they will continue to enjoy great service from people who make quality personal and go the extra miles for their clients,” Jim Mooney, CEO of Enginuity said in a press release.
The president of Triad said that it will continue to do business under the Triad name.
“The Triad team is super excited to have the horsepower of Enginuity to help us pursue large projects and design-build opportunities,” Tom Stifler, president of Triad Mechanical said in a press release. “Our whole team will remain together doing business as Triad, but with deep bench strength and technical prowess that Enginuity has to offer.”
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Enginuity was founded in 2002 and provides heating, cooling, piping, mechanical, designing, building and other services to industrial and commercial customers. In 2016, Enginuity acquired the commercial mechanical division of Secco Incorporated.
