A Denver-based insulated drinkware company ranked the highest of the 151 Colorado companies on Inc. magazine’s 2020 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
BruMate, which was founded in 2015 by now 25-year-old Dylan Jacob and featured in Forbes magazine recently, sells insulated can coolers, tumblers and drinkware. It reported that 2019 revenue increased 11,951 percent from three years prior — enough to nab the No. 14 spot on the Inc. 5000 list.
The list released Wednesday included 103 businesses from Denver.
Ranking on the Inc. 5000 list is determined by percent of revenue growth over a three-year period. Companies must apply to be included, self-report their revenue figures, and have had revenue of at least $100,000 in 2016 and $2 million in 2019.
Revenues from last year are no longer publicly available on the list, as they have been in the past.
