NEW ORLEANS – Coastal Carolina University was awarded the SAAC Community Impact Award for the 2019-20 academic year, the Sun Belt Conference office released on Wednesday.
"This award is a testament of the community involvement our student-athletes enjoy participating in during their tenure at Coastal Carolina University," commented Cari Rosiek, senior woman administrator and associate athletic director for student-athlete enhancement. "The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is proud to accept the SBC Community Impact Award for the 2019-2020 academic year."
Voted on the Sun Belt Conference SAAC members, Coastal Carolina's participation in the Night to Shine was selected as the most impactful event based on three criteria – originality, impact, and reach.
