Alexis Ohanian sent out a heartfelt tweet to wife and tennis superstar Serena Williams after the 23 time Grand Slam champion was recognised by TIME magazine as one of the 100 Women of the Year. The magazine brought out the special issue recognising '100 Women of the Year' in recognition of International Women's Day on March 8th, and Ohanian wanted everyone to know just how proud he is of his wife.
Ohanian tweeted, "Words can't describe how liberating it is (as a career-driven, ambitious AF business leader) to have a wife who has already accomplished so much – especially when you consider where she started and what she overcame to accomplish it.
I will never have the impact on the world my wife has had (no matter how big @reddit grows or how successful we are at @Initialized) and that is OK!” he said. “It's something to celebrate in a partner. It just makes me hungrier to be better and more successful as a whole person”.
The couple married in 2017 and have a daughter Alexis Olympia who is 2 years old. Besides her other endeavours, the 38 year old American is still pursuing her goals as a tennis player - she is ranked in the Top 10 and still gunning for her record-equaling 24th Grand Slam singles title.
